Performance:-
The Sahara EK00 is a good performing notebook. It is powered by Intel Core Duo T2250 @ 1.73Ghz processor on ATI Bonefish motherboard. Its 1GB RAM and 512MB graphics card make applications and games run smoothly. It also comes with 120 GB Hard Disk which is capable of storing movies, music, pictures, games or anything you want.
Multimedia:-
Its Dual Layer DVD Writer, 15.4 inch TFT widescreen and stereo speakers makes it into a complete entertainment PC. We can also connect headphones if the speaker volume is not enough. The DL-DVD writer will come to help if the 120GB hard disk fill up.
Connectivity:-
The EK00 comes with built in Wi-Fi. It also has an Ethernet 10/100 LAN and modem . A wireless button is placed on the board for easy access. These features make network connectivity a simple task. It has three USB 2.0 ports. It can be used for connecting printers, pen drives, mobile phones, modems or a USB mouse. Its headphone and microphone jacks are placed at the front for easy access. It also has a port for connecting external monitor/projector on the left side.
Build quality:-
This notebook has a good quality build and design. The overall build quality is good. The keyboard is very good and the keys are large enough like a desktop keyboard. The touch-pad is very good. It can be used for vertical and horizontal scrolling. It is highly customizable. The ports and buttons are placed at right locations for easy access. While doing heavy works and playing games with high graphic details, the fan becomes a little hot and noisy. But during normal operations, it is very quiet. There are no media control keys present in the EK00. But there is an FN key which can be used in combination with other keys for certain operations like volume control, increase/decrease display brightness etc.
Portability:-
The notebook weighs about 2.7kg which is slightly overweighted when compared to other laptops. But it is not a problem for such a good performing PC.
Battery:-
The Sahara EK00 has a very good battery life. Its battery backup is about 3 hours. But there will be slight variations according to the power management configurations and applications we run.

Sahara gives 1year replacement warranty for their products. Their customer support is also good. There are toll free helpline numbers for getting customer support.
